you can also use tmo os 4.2.107 on at&t it also will allow mms just make sure you delete vendor file.

i put it on my 8100 and still cant send pics. the down load worked i thought is there some thing i need to do after i get it on the phone or should it just work

I loaded the new OS, no problems. But then i tried to send an MMS, and it said that it did not have an MMS servic record. How do i fix this?

i am having the same problem as ryama. does any body know why i still cant send or receive ms messages. it tells me it can only be saved as a draft or it wont download the picture or whatever is sent.

Seems like this option no longer works. I have joined the list of people that uploaded the new os and get the option to compose MMS, but get "No MMS service record, can only save as draft" message when trying to send.

T-mobile requires a valid number to download the os. Any workarounds?

try finding a friend with a T-Mobile phone and use their number when you download the file

Kudos on that find... Like Brooke, I already have data...but I know Quite a few ppl that I WILL be converting to BB's now!

Wish I would have seen this earlier, look for the stackers level to go up soon!

i wiped my phone installed the OS and deleted the vendor.xml file but still no MMS.
when exactly i have to delete the file? before or after the os installation? kind of lost
help please!!!!

Ok well i put v4.2.1.107 in and had the same problem..........however then i pulled the battery and put it back in and it works great....thanks alot all!

i have downloaded and installed 4.2.1.107 and get to the point where i am allowed to send (had to do a battery pull after install) and then the message just gets hung up in the send phase...

anyone else having this issue?

Go to the tmo site for germany or england. They wont ask for your phone number.

anyone at all, this is frustrating....it lets me put the message together but doesnt actually send the message...

Well, I downloaded and installed 4.2.1.107 and pulled the battery for a minute.

When I went into messages, the "Compose MMS" option was now available in the menu, and it let me create the message, however it says "Failed to send message."

??
