Got my Cingular Pearl just over a week ago. My Pearl works and runs fine. Any reason I would need to download this?

Not unless you may need to restore the OS on your Phone, or just to have it

does anyone have any clue if there are any differences from telefonic OS and the cingular OS other than .67 + .02??

heh, just realized, i dont think it matters...im going to upgrade anyway...lol...but still, if anyone finds anything different...plz either post here or maybe start a new thread??

Thanks for posting this link. I updated my OS and what didn't work with the pre-.6x versions work now. Backup/Restore of all third party apps and all data went flawlessly too. Total upgrade time about 20 minutes. Also, please allow your PC to work unattended with nothing else running while this is happening.

Got my Pearl last Monday, already had this OS on it. Depending on what theme you are using, it seems a little slow switching between apps.

My Pearl, which has this OS on it, does support PTT.
