| At&t: Union Walks Away From Bargaining Table
If the information provided by At&t in this BGR piece is accurate, the company made a generous offer up front in order to keep people on the job, and the union put them on the picket line. Read the details at: http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2009/...rom-the-table/ |

i hope they all get fired. they really have a lot of balls striking the way the economy is. at this point be glad to have a job. most companies have put freezes on hiring and raises, even the profitable ones, because no one knows just how bad it's going to get. and the union thinks it's a good time to demand more stuff......figures. stupidity at it's best.

A company I worked for went on strike over PENSION and WAGES. In the time we were out we lost 4 times what we gained by walking. This cat will never work for a union shop again. |

no, instead we got a four year contract based on this years economy. so when everything is back to normal in two years or even better than what it should be we will still be getting our 2.5% raises when most companies give an average of 3-4%
