| AT&T Coverage in Central Ohio
I'm currently with Verizon in central Ohio, but the tower by my house apparently is schizophrenic. One of my favorite activities on slow days is to watch my signal strength bounce from no signal to 4 or 5 bars every so many seconds. Just sit in the back yard and watch the fun. Anyway, I'm thinking of breaking my contract and moving to AT&T (which is about the only other option as I'm not overly happy with my Sprint work phone, either). Can anyone in the area comment on the coverage and signal strength? Overall satisfaction with AT&T? |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ there are service problems through Ohio an d Michigan with AT&T data services, one I finally got to N. Kentucky for my flight home from CVG the data kicked back in. Spoke to AT&T support, known issue, many are without voic as well. Some lady next to me at the airport was also having connection issues with her AT&T Wireless broadband card, although she did get it working. So yeah, known issues with data in Ohio and Michigan. |

After getting some feedback in another forum, I went to the AT&T store yesterday and picked up a Bold. I get 4-5 bars (solid) at home, and here in my little cave at work (server room/closet), I actually get 5 bars as well. 3G in both places no sweat. Verizon never had more than 2 (and usually one or none) at the office. I'm liking this!
