dacket - have you signed up for the data plan with cingy/att yet? if so, then you should create your BIS account here: http://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=mycingular once you create this, you can resend service books or, if you have an icon titled "setup personal email" you can do it that way too ![]() also try to register the handheld and see if that brings the browser back options/advanced options/host routing table click menu and choose register now |

| Re: Unlocking T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl 8100
I tried registering the phone, I don't get a "setup e-mail" icon, and when I try to create an account, it says there is an account with my pin already. Probably because I used it when I was with T-mobile, but I have no idea what my username and password are.

I ended up removing blackbery unlimited service on my tmo account and then threw in my cingular card and that worked... have the web browser and the "medianet" wich the icon still looks like "Tzones" lol

| Re: Unlocking T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl 8100
Hi, I have been customer of Tmobile for like 2 years now. I don't want to sign another contract so was just going to grab a phone off ebay for the next year until the wifes contract is up. Then we might move to cingular. Will Tmobile give me the unlock code if I buy the phone from ebay?

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the point of unlocking it if you are happy with your service provider and you are keeping the phone (not selling it to who knows who on who knows what network)?
