Unlocking T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl 8100

Prerequisite: unlock code

1) In the SIM Card menu, press meppd
2) You'll see the unlocking level screen there you type mepp2
*You won't see any text while you are typing either one of these.
3) Enter the unlock code.

Tmobile will gave the code to you but you have to have benn with them for sometime .I got mine for my pearl.

I just got my unlock code today and I can't get it unlocked. I tried it the way they gave me the directions, but it still just shows ID and Ph# with no changes when I type in the letters and numbers they gave me. What am I doing wrong?

im on the phone with them now getting my unlocking info. Well they just said it may take 72hrs to get back to me with the info. Oh well. It doenst cost anything. so ill wait.

yea its 90 days and not past due on the account. you should only have to wait for up to 24 hours.

Mine took less then 12hours, and i was emailed all my information to unlock mine
