I've always use OZ Messenger, do you have a text plan, cause it runs through text and not data. I just downloaded it to my Curve and it works fine there also and all I have is unlimited text.

Do you have the Blackberry enabler on your line? If not just call CS and have them add it, it completely free, and that might fix the problem.

My experience is that it will not load if you are not using tmo's official 4.2 os on your pearl 8100. My workaround was that I downgraded to 4.2, downloaded and installed OZ and then upgraded to 4.5 letting DM migrate my apps, which included OZ. Later, here on pinstack I found out abut instango which is free and allows multiple messenger clients on one program and works very well.
    Hope this helps.

If you do a search for msn messenger service books and install them on your BB through desktop manager you can use the msn messenger from mobile.blackberry.com. I just don't remember what thread I saw it in. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
