Re: Flash operating system / remove t-Mobile restrictions

Welcome to PINSTACK! And im pretty sure theres a way, if you get your device UNLOCKED you can re-flash new software and and OS on your BB. Each carrier has their different seperate programs pre-installed. Cingular has that dumb "X" Character everywhere. Tmobile has Stupid Tzones stuff that hardly anyone uses. But i hid most my apps i dont use.

antholog, Welcome to PinStack.

Thanks for the information, but that is related to TMO US. Apparently TMO UK has limited the Browser to the WAP Browser and doesn't provide an Internet Browser.

Carriers do impose some restrictions. Some, especially those in the UK, don't always provide anything else but the WAP Browser, which is why I asked about his Carrier. Everyone automatically assumed he was on TMO US.

Again Welcome to PinStack.
Hey bro, you're right, showed a a little impatience there didn't I? hehe sorry about that. Thanks for the correction.........

Re: Flash operating system / remove t-Mobile restrictions

As the person who started this thread asked, is there a way to COMPLETELY get rid off ALL the T-mobile things ooff the phone, From the stupid startup to the themes? Want it to look like ANY other carrier but t-mobile, Bored of it now.

Re: Flash operating system / remove t-Mobile restrictions

This is my first time trying to post I don't know if I am doing it right but I am looking for help with downloading the new O S system, I am not sure where to go. So If someone can send me a link and maybe drop me a few lines on how to get it on my phone, I have a black berry Pear 8100. Thanks

Re: Flash operating system / remove t-Mobile restrictions

I would call t-mobile and adj them to send you your service books again and are if that helps.I know that's what I had to do when I first got my BB.
