| AIM Help!!!!!!!
Okay So I tried to download The newest version of AIM on my Curve 8320 and it deleted my old version of aim and now when i try to sign on it says " services not enabled for this handheld" so now i dont have any instant messenger at all because it deleted my old version....How do i get the old version of AIM back?????? yes...there was a little pop up on my phone that said the older version will automatically be replaced for the newer version

I am not sure if this will work but you can try going into options/advanced options/applications and scrolling over AIM. Then click menu and go to edit permissions and make sure they are all set to allow. You can also try to delete and resend the service books for AIM and that might clear it up.

what OS are you running....if anything go to www.blackberry.com/instantmessaging from your device browser, download that AIM and try it again. If not you can actually delete the latest version you downloaded and connect your device to the desktop manager open the app loader and reload the older version of AIM

yeah I had the same issue with my pearl when I updated to 4.5 and first I tried installing the latest version of aim from the link above then I decided to see if I could go back to factory settings so i reinstalled the original aim
