I called BB support this past Tuesday night for having issues with sprint connection manager and vista. Obviously it doesn't work as many of you know. ANyway, started chatting with the rep and I asked him if there were any "specials" for sms. He checked and he said as long as you have the BB data plan, i could have the "unlimited" sms for only 5 bucks a month. I jumped on that instantly. Heck, i was paying 5 bucks for only 300 sms. It is still in the system, just ask for it. Everyone is right, make sure you contact the BB support folks and not the regular sprint phone support. I think the number for them has already been posted. Good luck!

there is another way to set up the BB as a dial up modem. Pin me and ill explain further 32C029E1. Keep this thread to the sms plan. This was never an offer in any of the plans in the past hence the reason for this post. As you have all been saying, call BBtech or BBsupport and they will do the magic.

I just spoke with a rep from Sprint Blackberry Support, and she offer me the unlimited text plan for $5, the number I call is 1-877-654-9111...

Just called the 877-654-9111 and of course they had no idea of what i was talking about and told me to call customer support for further info. And we all know that customer support is a never ending battle with people that are just not helpful.

You should be able to email CS and get it FREE, as sero comes with free unlimited text , i did for an excisting sero line and they did it.

As of right now, at a store, you cannot get the $5 SMS if your in the Ensemble billing system, they codes arent in there, i have placed multiple tickets about this issue into IT, hopefully they listen and put it in, but if your a new customer or in the old billing system, your good to go, just make sure you find a rep that isn't a robot with a rateplan stuck up their butt and know where to look...
