You obviously have the knowledge on plan info. I am ready to ditch the treo and go BB. I am loyal sprint and always will be. Do I need to have the 40 dollar bb service to use my BB? I don't care about P.A.M. so that being said, shouldn't I be able to have the unlimited data plan and still utilize the bb emailing service?

You will be able to add your emails through the bb email set up, and you will get a .....@sprint.blackberry.net Hope this helps

Ah, I don't think my account is considered consumer because I get a discount with my employer. My account has a code that doesn't identify it as a consumer account. This is probably the reason I can't get it. I get like $20 in discounts already.

No...you can get it. I have a corporate account through my employer also and I called and added it to my plan. I posted this a few messages up the last time someone said it was for only consumers....and thats not true! You need to call again and just be patient, and ask to speak to the reps who deal with the business accounts. I kept giving them that code and they finally found it and added it. Good luck.

Holy crap. Why is my plan being charged $15 bucks a month after telling me that i had it for 5 dollars??? Any ideas what to do??? Im baffled now!

The code is for CDMA, not iDEN...

Contact customer care to explain the situation, and they'll be able to correct the issue. I dont know the circumstances, but i do know that Sprint has a good customer support team. "If your situation is not resolved show concern and ask to be trasfered to retention services."(melerant, 2006)

the code works...i went in to the store and got my new bb today and they code went thru...they called it in...they thought i got the code from a sprint rep when i got it off of this forum

unlimited text for 5 bucks.... yay!

but the guy at the store got rid of my voice plan...so now i'm on the phone with them trying to get it straight
