Solution 1: Wireless is turned off. Scroll to icon labelled "turn wireless on" and press trackwheel.
Solution 2: Coverage not available. Check signal strength, if signal is low try raising antenna, or moving to a different area until coverage is found.
Solution 3: Possible network outage. Check other phones in the area, if same problem there may be a network issue.
Solution 4: Perform master radio reset. Choose options, security options, general settings, click trackwheel, master radio reset, click yes to restore setting, for password hold alt and press space bar 6 times, 000000. Go back to main screen and turn wireless on.
"NxTL" (Radio is unavailable)
Soluton 1: Radio is turned off. Choose call log, click trackwheel choose options, choose push to talk, scroll to phone only and choose no.
Solution 2: Perform master radio reset.
"NXtL (Web is unavailable)

Solution 2: Perform register now. Choose options, advanced options, host routing table, click trackwheel and choose register now (recommended 3 times)

Solution 2: Perform hard reset. Remove battery, hold down the power button, replace battery.
Solution 3: Perform master radio reset.
Solution 4: Perform register now.
Solution 5: Remove, reinsert sim, or try alternate sim.
"OFF" (Wireless is turned off)
Solution 1: Turn wireless on. Scroll to the icon labelled "turn wireless on" and press trackwheel.
Solution 2: Device is not activated. Make sure the device's sim and pin have been activated with the provider.

Make sure the BlackBerry is *not* set to Phone Only mode.
To check this, Goto the Phone app, Menu, Options, Direct Connect
Phone Only = No
The only other thing I would check to ensure you can get DATA & VOICE is to do a Master Radio Reset.
Options / Security Option / General Settings / Menu > Master Radio Reset.
Then do a hard reset .. ie., battery-pull & reseat the SIM card.
This option really worked for me. I had my phone-only = yes.
