| Clock Icon when sending MMS/SMS?
Hey. This has happened before, but it fixed itself right after. All day I got a "Clock Icon" when I tried to send text messages [I have O/S 4.2 on a BlackBerry 7520]. I did a complete power off, and waited ALL day. I finally took the battery out and put it back in and now my texts send. So, I have a statement and a question: Statement: If this is happening to you, try to take the battery out and putting it back in Question: Does anyone know why this happens? And if so, is there a way to prevent it? Thanks in advance. |

I know the "clock icon" is indicating that the message is sending/processing. It sounds to me like your carrier service may be bogging down. I'm not sure how the battery pull is helping. Maybe just coincidence?

Sounds like the carrier is bogging down. Same thing happens here. Sometimes if you call your voicemail and attempt a resend it will work. I've had this same issue. The Clock means pending. the vortex looking thing is sending. the X is obviously an error. |

I had the problem with the clock icon when trying to send an e-mail. Finally gave up trying to find a logical answer, removed and re-installed the battery and it works. Thanks. |

I Ran into the same issue the other night after a big storm. For 3 days my MMS wouldnt sent...instead of the normal sending icon, the clock (or timed-out) icon would just show up then eventually a red X. I tried turning off the radio, the phone, then finally tried a battery pull. Called voice mail, text, opened the browser, opera mini, the whole nine...nothing. Finally had to call AT&T and C.S. had to reset my profile in their system. the rep told me it was nothing new. something about the storm and electrical interference with the tower I was connected to at the time during the storm. Once the tower has a problem and 'looses' ur phone for a hot sec, some of the setting get messed up. she said that sometimes it happens with the browser too. Only took like a 5 min phone call and all is well.
