wireless sync

is there an add-on or something that would enable me to sync wirelessly with my outlook address/calendars? I can't find it on "my verizon" and would love to make a change on my device, add a contact let's say, and have it go to my PC's outlook seamlessly.

Well, that's a tough question. If you're talking about GMail or Yahoo, you might be in luck, but I'm pretty sure that "out of the box" you can't wirelessly sync with a BIS account (Blackberry Internet Service, as opposed to BES, Business Enterprise System). That said, there is piece of add-on software by BlackBerry called Unite. Be cautious with this product. It's had some strangeness. Go read a lot about it. I installed it on my partner's BB and on our home machine and someone I killed it accidently on my home computer, but can't fully uninstall it from his BB (until I wiped it and reinstalled the OS).

Google just released a Sync tool to allow you to sync with your email, contacts and calendar! Maybe that's the simple answer to your question.

Hey Guys,

I was going to post a similar message. I am a former Motorola Q user on verizon. I work for a small company and all of our e-mail comes from a POP3 server. No Exchange is available. Verizon has a product called wireless sync that uses a desktop redirector to sync up all e-mail, contacts, notes, calendar items from you outlook. The integration was so tight that if I deleted an e-mail or moved it to another folder, within a few minutes, it would duplicate the changes on my mobile device. If i made changes on my mobile device it would be duplicated on my desktop...Is there a similar functionality with a 3rd party software, I tried the UNITE! and that really didnt work...
