In summary, Verizon signed a contract to add Windows Live Search to ALL of their phones that can access the internet, and it references the Storm in the article for example.

I'm sorry, but I left Windows Mobile for a reason. VZW, you can add it to my phone all you want, but I WILL find a way to get rid of it, and set Google as my home page on the browser, purely out of spite.

Granted, I'm not on VZW at the moment, but I will be returning to them in April, not really by choice. But since I'm being forced to do it, hey, might as well pick up a new Storm right?

Overly sensitive? Sure, but I'd prefer carriers keep their bloat-ware off my phone.

You can have windows live on your phone and still have google as your homepage. Microsofts live search is a peice of software that runs alot like Berry 411 but much better. I already have windows live on my phone and absolutly love it.
