I've been doing it on my Berry when my Rocket Stick has decided to not work, and they never charge me anything extra, since I don't go over the 6GB plan, so be interesting if they figure it out and actually start charging.

Looks like if you have been on a Data plan greater than 1 Gig prior to June 2009 there will be no change.I was a little worried about this Dec 31 timeline as well, signed up for a 3 year data plan based on the fact i would be tethering my laptop when outta the office.Hope the linked article rings true.....http://www.iphoneincanada.ca/iphone-...gers-and-fido/

Hey just a question to any Rogers reps out there:

Anyone know if the 6GB plan qualifies still for tethering to be included? There are conflicting reports, some saying the 6GB plan is fine since it was purchased before today, but other reports saying the tethering option was a promotional period and as of Dec 31st, it has ended and u have to add on a seperate tethering plan, which is crap.

Can anyone please definitely confirm its not going to effect us on the 6GB Plan?

There is no such things as rogers charging for tethering. It is not going to affect any plan, option. There is no such thing.
