Hey Mike, welcome to PinStack. Not sure how to help you, other than trying to locate the previous OS you had on the device, downloading and then downgrading to that OS. Any idea what OS you had on the device prior to this one?

That stuff is way over my head. Where's Thyth when you need him?

Seriously, have you tried a hard reset (battery pull)? What carrier are you with? You should be able to find the OS on their website.

What model Torch do you have?

What do you mean it's updating itself again?

Well don't tell them you were into the engineering screens or they won't be so quick to help you.

ive got it sorted! i had to wipe it entirely and reboot it, my pc recognised it so i restored all my data so then i rang orange and told them to send my blackberry settings again. then i got round the engineering screens to enable uma calling and now we're back in business. my entire night wasted.

but yea thanks very much for the help

I did nothing but throw some suggestions around. Mike got it sorted on his own.
