I don't know which PC OS you are running.
If you are running Vista, RT click the file and "run as administrator".

Please report back any further problems, or if you are running a different PC OS.

Nevermind! Got it! I had to have desktop manager installed even though it wasn't open. It was my brother's laptop, as I have a mac. And even better, when I plug my berry in the mac, it detects it. So happy, thank you so much!

hi im a newbie here. after i double click the cfp.exe file, a DOS window pops up for about half a second than it closes. I check my bold but it never reboots. I pulled the battery, wait for it to turn on, but still have no mass media storage support!?

The ONLY files that you should of unzipped are:
    BB storage Activation new.bat
    hahanew.txt
    Info.txt

I give credit where it's due for the repairs by Safiy!
These files were posted by him to help us Stackers.
    Thanks Safiy!!

If those don't work for you, then you can try this:

Yes, I'm not sure where he got that file?
    It wasn't from you.

Either way, the USB Port Mapping can be fixed easily by the post I made.

But try Safiy's files 1st. It's quicker and may fix your problem

newbie here. i have a bb 8320 curve. i run the batch file and it somewhat tried to run the batch file and when it said its done although i still hit the spacebar 3x, i just closed and voila! the media card on my bb can now be detected from my vista pc.

btw, does it only show 1 drive for the media card and none for the device itself? or that is only applicable to 9xxx models?

thank you so much for this! you definitely saved a lot lives!
