    hi, when i open that hahnew file, it just flashes that black screen with grey font. then closes. any suggestions/help??? thanks

    K, I have been having this mass media storage issue for about a month but have had my 8900 since feb. I connect it to the computer and double click on blackberry. I then c my BB file folders. I double click on music(this is the only folder I have problems with) and I c no music. the killer is that if I disconnect my BB, I can plkay all my music on my 8gb media card.

    I found this post about 3 this morning ,d bookmarked it to look @ later today. I have tried the link provided by Safiy and saved it. When I get ready to run it, it tells me to select a program to run it or allow windows to find a program that will run it. Am I doing Something wrong because I don't recall anyone else having this problem. Or do I need to download a rar file program so that it will run? Please advise. Thanks.

    Mass Storage - BB Bold

    Hi - I'm currently using now my seventh warranty phone from AT&T, all of which have had different problems. First the volume, then the screen was way too sensitive to the touch, then the earphone jack, then the speaker, next the keyboard, then the screen again, and now it will not connect to a PC or Mac. Beyond frustration to say the least. Tech support from AT&T can read their monitors quite well and think everyone that calls has never owned a phone before, let alone a blackberry.

    Their warranty department - absolutely terrible because if anyone adhired to their protocol (assuming they have one) then each phone would be tested completely, then sent as a replacement. Something they simply do not do nor care to obviously.

    Anyway, I found a link to this site so I tried the .rar file because they're sending me a NEW phone, not from via warranty department, but from their sales department. Why? Because I demanded they do the right thing - period! For anyone in doubt, this exe file did the trick. I don't know what it's done, but I don't care since it works.

    A million thanks for posting it and I'll share the info to those who need it.

    Sorry guys, But I cannot get this to work.

    I unzipped, tried to run both apps on both the laptop and bb, none worked

    Laptop I tried both files and both crashed and "performed an error" and windows closed them , They "stopped working correctly" and forces an exit....

    No good even after rebooting both

    What do i do? Im going nuts!

    Please help me out, as I cant read 12 pages right now.

    Thanks Safiy. Worked like a charm! Was having trouble at first, didn't realise that I was trying to run the file in winzip... doh!

    Move the files out from winzip/winrar etc. and run from desktop

    Maybe it takes more time than a half hour to process?
