Hi i'm a newbie everyone and just like alot of others, i'm having the same problem with my 8330 Sprint BB. It's not connecting to the device manager at all. when i go to the device manager under my computer it shows the RIM composite device but with a big yellow question mark, and when i unplug my BB it disapears. The BB will not charge when connected to the computer at all. At this point i'm trying to cover all the things that is going wrong to give you a beter idea of what i'm going through. I've been back to the Sprint store and they gave me another new BB Curve 8330 and this one is doing the same thing. I've took it to the Sprint repair store and they couldn't fix it or find out what the problem is. The tech there even pluged up his BB Curve to my laptop and it couldn't find his. Can some Please HELP ME PLEASEi, PLEASE. PLEASE. I've had this phone going on 2 weeks and can't get it to connect and it driving me crazy. I know you may be tired of the same question over and over, but i've been all though this mass storage issue and can't find a fix. I've downloaded the fix and no go. If at all posible can some one talk to me and walk me through it. I'll even call you or you can call me, i really need this to work. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

It sounds like you don't have Desktop Manager and/or the USB drivers from RIM installed.
Both can be downloaded from blackberry.com.
Install those and reboot your PC.
I also posted a fix from Microsoft earlier in this thread.

Hi Cobra and thanks for responding. I do have desktop manager installed on my computer, thats the thing i don't understand. But I can say that I will look for the RIM Composite Device, because that's what's missing I've also downloaded your mass storage fix and it didn't work. I am getting connecting to bootrom or something like that and the other thing was

    C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\BB storage Activation new\BB stora
    ge Activation new\BB storage Activation new>hahanew -u usbms -s
'hahanew' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

Did you try "uninstalling" ALL USB devices in MS Device Manager and let it auto reinstall all USB devices?

That file is NOT MY fix.
If you are running Vista, RT click the file and "run as administrator".
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Now for MY fixes:
I had USB problems with Vista.
2 options are available.1 is mine, and it worked! The 2nd, I did not do from MS,because the 1st one worked!
If you know how to use the Device Manager in Windows, delete or uninstall ALL USB items listed, reboot,it will re-discover all USB devices and that should fix it. If it does not, PM me and I will give you the Microsoft repair, as it is a bit lengthy.
I tried A LOT of things, this is the one that worked for me.
Make SURE you have the latest drivers installed from RIM 1st!!!

Get the MS Fixit for the USB errors here:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314634/en-us

Despite what it says, it WILL work on Vista/XP/Server (all versions)

I can confirm that this does in fact work great with the Verizon Blackberry Storm 9530. You need to make sure you run the hahanew file FIRST, then the BB file. Safiy, you ROCK! Keep up the GREAT WORK! It is appreciated!
