Worked like a charm! That was the last problem from .466 and I am a little embarrassed I didn't see that earlier...

Now I see that the Lock button only works when a password is set? Guess that's a feature. My handset locks in the case but I used to lock it with the button to prevent pocket-calls when inserted into the provided case upside down.

Does this one have the stand-by button enabled?

When I installed it last week the Standby button did not work... I found that unacceptable.... I downgraded my OS back to .461 a couple hours later... then I purchased my 9700 yesterday... might give my 8900 to my step-daughter.

I already have .509 installed. Just thought this one might have had the kinks worked out. Oh well, thanks for the info.

I can tell you that the Lock button works like it used to, without a password set. the keyboard locked screen is different, just text stating keyboard is locked. I am really happy with this change!

220.127.116.111 has major sms threading issues. Seems all sms's recieved are all listed as being sent by the first contact that sent and sms. Its however been fixed in 18.104.22.1681

Blank screen in 22.214.171.1241
Has any one else experienced a bug that when you plug your phon into the AC adapter at night and it is set to enter bedside mood it just goes black or white and only a battery pull resets it? Any suggestion to fix this?

Help w/ AT&T BB Cruve 8900
First time posting and using a forum, so forgive my ignorance.
Does the AT&T BB allow for one touch "shortcuts" to access applications?
Sprint BB Curve 8330 allows for this. Let me explain, no one else has understood the question. I can access the calendar by pushing the "L", the alarm clock by "R". When you view the whole menu the letter to access that app is underlined. Of course not all apps can be access this way. I have even ask the BB Rim rep for AT&T and had no answer.

Welcome! Go to your call log. Press the application key. Open options then go to general options then turn off dial from home screen. That should do it. Here's a list of the shortcuts. Key shortcuts:
A or C = phonebook
S = search
F = phone profiles
W or B = browser
H = help
K = locks the keys
L = calendar
V = messages
M = messages folder
R = alarm
T = tasks
U = calculator
I = applications
O = options
P = phone
Some new additions thanks to the contributions in this thread:
T - Top of page (in browser)
B - Bottom of page (in browser)
Space - Page down (in browser)
ALT + Right Shift + Del = hard reset
D - Memo pad
U - Switch between hide/unhide in title bar (in browser)
ALT + NMLL = numbers instead of bars for signal strength *

That did the trick. How do I get the rest of the key shortcuts?
