    .250 software...

I've been running the .250 now for over a week and no issues what so ever. I am hoping to read better things about the new 5.0 sw so I can upgrade to it, but continue to hear that certain things don't work...for now my .250 have been very stable with no problems or issues. The battery life seems to be about the same as all the other loads I've tried so I can't say that there is a noticeable difference...I usually just turn off my WiFi when I'm away from home and my Bluetooth when I'm not in the car...

My 8900 came preloaded with .231 and seems to be very stable. I still don't like the wrap text issue though. I'm going to wait for an official release of 5.0 I understand that is one of the issues corrected with 5.0

Man...that stinks...and I was gonna look at upgrading my 4.6. My 8900 on TMo came with .114 installed. Other than that text wrap issue I am having, it's a stable OS.

I have upgraded to Rogers .250 and so far the battery life is far better. So far so sood I like the upgrade.

What's the biggest difference if I try OS 5 for the 8900, or should I just stay with .250 for now and wait for an official os.

Well I upgraded to .250 and it seems to be very stable. The battery life seems to have improved some too. I wanted to upgrade to 5.0, but I understand that a lot of apps stop working with 5.0. Facebook for one, stops working. I think that I'll just wait for an official release from a carrier, just to be safe.

Im on TMO with the 8900 and I upgraded to to 4.6.1.231 and have been having some small problems like slight freezing and small button response and I had one shutdown. Anyone else been having this problem too? What should I do?
