That's strange Roger. It loads without a glitch for me. Only took about 10 minutes. I used the BlackBerry site download and loaded through apploader. I did have to delete the hidden vendor.xml file. So far it is running smoother than .250 from T-Mobile. Not much of a difference, but noticible. Main difference is that it is smoother with less freezes or slugishness. Battery life seems the same. I get about 16-24 hours with normal to heavy use. Just make sure you are not auto updating SocialScope or Berryweather. I have them both set to 1 hour.

    I can't even launch the installer. I've tried 3 or 4 times.

7, E. Good to see you, by the way. Sorry it has to be at such a sad occasion that you're back here.

I wasn't even using DM, though. Just tried downloading the OS, but the installer wouldn't even launch.

Prior to that, I was using the Loader executable and it would error out midstream.

Hm. Sounds like the same issue I had with .439.

I always use App Loader. Just a heads up. I had to download the file using Internet Explorer to get it to install. I was using Firefox and after 5 attempts, I remembered reading that someone tried IE so I tried it and it worked.

Strange. Sounds exactly like what happened to me with .439. I eventually uninstalled everything (I was using the DM 7 beta), reinstalled DM 6 and the OS, then was finally able to install the OS with the Loader.
