Seriously - is there going to be a new update soon? Or 6.0? I'm really sick of .862...

Does anyone know where the AT&T .9xx version is? I am so bad at finding this stuff - I've gotten so used to someone here posting it on the main page for me. I've heard it's not bad. Anyone using it?

There's actually an AT&T .979, that's not listed here. Just downloaded from the Blackberry site. Where are all the Pinstack fanatics who keep this place updated? lol

Rachael, I just added the link to the .979 from AT&T on the first post of the thread.

6.0.0.337, the version that was leaked for the 9700 a few days ago, has just been officially released for the 9800 (for Beeline). I would expect an official version of 6 to be rolled out for the 9700 probably within the next few days, and probably through T-Mobile. . .

I will believe it when I see it...T-mobile seems to be a late adopter.

True - T-Mobile is generally the slowest to get/distribute the latest software and OS updates, but the leaked 6.0 we've been playing with for a week or so comes with a T-Mobile vendor.xml, which would indicate Tmo should be getting it first when it goes live. I'll believe it when I see it also - - but early indicators are giving Tmo the nod

For those of you who've opted to wait to update to 6.0.xxx or whatever, I just updated to .979 and retrieved about 70 mb of space. I was on .862 and when I looked at how much space I had in App World - it was frightening. And other weird things started happening over the past week, but I was using .862 for months with no problems. What is it with RIM software that it degrades over a the period of a few months and no amount of memory cleaning and file cleanup will make difference??
