I have DM 6 installed. It has a beautiful interface. Backing up my BlackBerry was flawless. I just didnt get to perform loading a backup or any other handy tools that it may come with.

Ran across this article at bbleaks: http://www.bbleaks.com/2010/04/will-...ive-os-60.html == Seems to support our assertion that the 9700 will receive 6.0 in the near future. The article linked to is 3 or 4 months old, but I had not seen it yet. Smiles!

Yup, 9700 will be getting 6.0- it was officially announced yesterday at the 9800 launch- now is just a matter of time! please dont let it me 5-6 months!
2-4 months would be ideal !

Well, you'd think that since the 9800 launches in a week with 6.0 that the 6.0 for other devices would be right around the corner.

I may be wrong, but I think they're going to wait a while. If one of the major selling points on the slider is the 6.0, then it would be silly to introduce it for existing models right away. They'll sell more 9800s when 6.0 is exclusive to them!

i stayed thinking about this and we might be waiting for 6.0 for a while-- if at&t is releasing the torch next week that means tmo might get in by 1st quarter of next year, which means we might not even get a beta release until 2nd or 3rd quarter! that seems like a long time for me

My current OS is running so well that I'm not interested in any more upgrades until 6.0 is introduced for the 9700.
