Just wnet to 184.108.40.2066 (T-Mo official). I usually go with the latest but this one was newer than what I had loaded. The only difference I have noticed is that I *think* they fixed the Facebook CICAL problem...where it comes back no matter how often you tell it NOT to integrate the Facebook calendar with the BB? If this is really fixed I am HAPPY!

Is there any point in going from 656 to 680? What is there to gain? Also when I clicked the link for the Hutchison 680, I get more than one version, with some versions saying higher values like I think 1149 & East Asian files. Which one is the 'correct' highest version?

If .656 is working well for you then no, there's no reason to upgrade, unless you're insanely addicted to this sort of thing like some of us.
The .1149 you speak of is actually the Package Version. What you want to look for is the Applications Version (.680). In the case of the Hutchison site, this is actually the third package down, so you have it right.
Anyway, if you're happy with what you've got and it's working well for you, then leave it.

Actually every now & then (avg twice a month or so now) I get a reboot just when I hit enter to send an SMS. I'm not sure if this happened in any of my previous builds as I used 330 for a very long time when I had random reboots when engaging Bluetooth in some of the builds between 330 & 656.

Ha! Here we go again! 680 is barely broken in, I wonder what's new on 743?!? I'll have it installed mid-morning . . . .

I installed .743 last night. I'm going from .656, so I never went to .680. Haven't noticed any difference nor had any issues. I did get prompted to utilize the remote backup service for my phone, which I haven't done before. I not sure if that is due to OS update or a T-mobile feature that I've never set up in the past.

Installed just after release. Funny I was just about to do the Hutchison 680 then this 743 comes out. I wonder if we're going to start seeing some 6.0 yet. I REALLY hope the 9700 gets 6.0 & especially the new browser. It would simply blow if us 9700 users will have to buy a new device so soon to get that update.

If the latest rumors are true that there's going to be an updated 9700 with 512mb to accommodate the 6.0 OS, then carriers should do what AT&T is doing with the new iPhone and make damn sure those of us who recently purchased a 9700 are able to upgrade.

Well I guess I'm just SOL as I renewed for 2 years the day after this 9700 was released. Maybe we'll get just the browser & a stripped-down 6.0 since that's the main thing that needed work?
