Question Curve 9300 - Extreme battery drain in less than 3 hours?

We have several clients with 9300 who have battery drain from 100% to shutdown in less than 3 hours with normal (average) use.
    OS is 6.0.0.570 (T-Mobile HR)

I will try update to latest OS (6.0.0.666), but I'd like to know has anyone else had similar experience?
If so, did update help? Or devices / batteries are faulty?

I had that happen on my first Bold 9780 last December after updating the OS and replacing the battery. I had to replace the Bold when all was said and done.

Update: with new OS (6.0.0.666), it's now 24 hours after full recharge and battery is at 75%, but usage was minimal.
    More testing follows...

I recently had this same issue with my battery. I bought a new battery, it seemed to be okay for about a month. I just tried to upgrade to the most recent OS but it crashed my phone. Now, I am not having any luck repairing it from this point. I will only receive the error code 505 and then it will not connect to anything.
Can anyone help me restore this phone? Thanks

Hi, yes, still here. It is stuck on a screen that says,"Error 507, Reload Software, for further information, please visit: www.blackberry.com/507. That pretty much did nothing for me.

I have a MAC book Pro. I have re-loaded the desktop software three times. Then, attached the BB to a USB cord and it still does nothing.

Thanks for any help that you can give me.

Unfortunately I'm not a Mac user so won't be of much help there.

See if this helps you at all:

LOL! They actually don't vary too much from PC. Although better. Haha. Just before you sent the link, I was already there.

I think I will just complete.y unload BB from my and Start over. I'll see if that works.

    Thanks for your help.

Well there are more tools available for PC that can help you along faster. Wish they had them for Mac users, too.
