    Go to post 4 in this thread. See where it says to navigate to a folder on your PC? Do that.

    Just go to that folder and delete that file I told you to delete......vendor.xml.

    yeah i did that, then deleted the right one, then opened the loader... and it comes up with what i said previous

    All the instructions are in post number 4 in this thread. Just follow along after the wipe part and you should be fine!

    yeah i did that but when i opened the loader it said ''The blackberry desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device that you have connected to the computer. contact your wireless service provider or system administrator''

    You're sure you downloaded the right file for your device? Go to the control panel on your PC and the Programs and Features section. Look for BlackBerry device software.

    There might be a hidden vendor file somewhere. Can you do a search on your PC for "vendor.xml"?
