Here's a link to an updated Xposed framework mod.
Xposed allows you to modify your stock rooted ROM without flashing.

It used modules to allow features like full ascreen caller id, changing status bar colors, running themes, save pictures directly to SD card, and many more.

Wanam Xposed is a great module for touchwiz Roms.

Download, install, then open the app and you'll see "install". Each time you install a module you have to reboot.

For those of you who have investigated Greenify, Xposed is required for the donation version.

Should work with any stock ROM, however not all modules will work.

There's always a chance things could go south. Normally I'd say make a nandroid, but you're not able.

I'd just have that .tar and Odin handy. Really the only thing your need to worry about would be bootlooping.

The framework gives you the ability to remove it through the app. So if you do get screwy and it boots you can use the app to remove the framework itself.

I've never had any issues, and use this for Greenify as well as when I use a touchwiz rom. Matter of fact, all the touchwiz Roms I've used include Xposed in the ROM itself.

Xposed is primarily a mod for stock Roms, however there are a few that work (believe most will work, just not needed) with AOSP based Roms. Greenify is one, as are the security based ones.

There should be a few listed in the app under the "download" header and more can be found at xda general/android/apps section.
