Unofficial AOKP (Similar to Cyanogen 10 with more options. Bare Android Jellybean. Good choice)

You've done your nandroid, so that's good. Download the one (or all) and put on phone. Flash like you did the su.zip. Use the file Craig gave you or choose "wipe" in twrp and wipe davlik and cache. Then flash rom. Patience and reboot. Profit.

I'll be around so give me a shout if you need help. Just remember at all cost if things go bad, it can be fixed, in most cases I've experienced it's a constant bootloader issue or the flash is aborted which means just restore your backup. If you can't get to recovery turn off device and hold all buttons and plug in to pc. That should get you to recovery for your restore.

Sorry for the hit and miss replies and availability. For days Cassie has been having pains/and early contractions so I'm distracted on top of Church stuff and new job.

Baby could come anytime and I'm devoting attention to every ache and pain she has. I know its understandable but I feel bad anyway.

Just wish this child would hurry up. I'm losing sleep and she's not even here yet....

There's nothing like the feeling you just bricked your phone and the relief when you get it all back . I tried a update today and it took me a hour and a half to get the SII singing again

This will work great.....but steps 19-24 only work as long as he's backed up his apps with Titanium backup first....unless I missed a post telling you to do that already.
