    Seido (MyTouch 3G) Extended Battery

I just picked up a MyTouch and I was told the battery was not that great. I remember when I had the G1 when it first came out and quickly returned it because of the horrific battery life. I see that Seido sells a 2000mAh battery with extended door that only extends 3-4mm.

Does anyone else use this and how well does it work. Most of my usage is emails, VPN & browsing the web so it's pretty demanding.

    thanks,

    -Mario

Unfortunately I wasn't eligible for the upgrade and I wasn't paying $549 for a phone that I hear so many complaints about. Thanks anyway though.

I paid $100 for this phone through Tmobile refurbished because my BB 8900 was giving me problems and they kept giving me the run around. I'm canceling my service in a month and getting an iPhone so it's just a temp to get me through lol. I would keep the MyTouch cause it's a cool phone but if I have buy another Android phone just to get decent battery life it's not worth the hassle.

I have no experience with that particular battery but everything I've ever used and bought from siedio gad been top quality and the customer support is second to none. I know many people on this forum swear by the extended batteries for there BB. I don't think you can go wrong, but call them up and talk to them.

    +1

I have a Siedio slim extra life battery (that's the one that fits WITHOUT the new back), plus have had a few of their cases. They are a top notch company and they stand by their products.
