I hope this is the right place, it is my first (preBerry) post. Looking to get my first Berry (from T-mo) when my current wireless contract (with another company) runs out soon. I have not found anything in the forums on the soon-to-be-released "Blackberry Connect" Samsung flip? What do you folks think of it? What will it lack as compared with the 7100's and my other phone of interest, the soon-to-be-released 8100? I want a SureType model. Why does the T-mo web description say it soes not have Email, is that a misprint? Will it do the Berry PIN chat? Thanks in advance for not flaming this newbie. |

Only Built-in Blackberry will have PIN service such as the Semiens sx56 I won't comment on Samsung since personally I don't like them at all. Welcome to Pinstack! another good thread: http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...rry_built.html |

It is also my understanding that the Blackberry connect devices will have the push email, but lack the ability to do lookups of the corporate address book. A huge negative IMO that will probably keep me from ever switching.

I feel the same way as u Hydn. I had a Samsung e635 slider last year and had problems with that thing straight out of the box. Froze and rebooted itself whenever I tried to download anything from the WAP browser. Messages took forever to send, or didn't send and the phone rebooted itself all over the place. I only used it for a month before I threw it. ![]() |
