S3 Battery Life - Extended Battery

The only thing that blows bubbles about my S3 is the poor battery life. By 2pm daily it is asking (begging) for a charge . . . So I went to one of my trusted seller buddies on Ebay and am getting an extended battery with new battery cover. I tell ya, there's one area where BlackBerry had it going! But it was probably their smaller screens.

If it´s a LTE , that could be a factor. Especially if the LTE signal where you are, isn´t strong enough, and it keeps switching to 3G or HSPDA and searching all the time for the 4G connection - it´s a big battery drain.
Another is WiFi. Switch it off if you´re not in a WiFi recognized area.
And your latest "game" - GPS (to follow, and for you to keep tabs where you are, like you said). That´s a drain too.

I received and installed the extended battery and new battery cover, and my major gripe about the S 3 is solved. I used it all day yesterday and still had 33% battery at bedtime.

    Mark, you're using stock right?
I need to install stock for a day and compare the life against AOSP.

I'm not having to plug mine back in until late in the day. Usually have 60%+ when I get home.

And now, for the second time ever at Pinstack, I shall employ the "ignore" option.

    Edit: Much much better.

Ok I remember the series, kung fu with David Carradine and a walking stick, which I didn' t care less about.
    Hence the hoppity reference.
It makes the matter worse. I'm trying to imagine Jay in a grasshopper, hoppity suit and a chopped firewood stick in his hand gayly traipsing across the country side ...and kung-fu.
    Doesn't add up.
