    Reset Galaxy 2 Phone

I'm truly embrassed or I'm having a hard time. For some reason my password isn't working on my Galaxy 2 phone. Is there a way to do a hard reset? I've backed up all my information, just need to reset my phone.

    Thank you.

    Jfcooley,

That's the problem, I have can't access my menu. I have the pattern password and for some reason it's not working for me. This is why I want to do a hard reset.

IF your Samsung Galaxy S II is frozen, Shut the POWER OFF, take the battery out and put it back again. 2. Hold the Volume Down button 3. Briefly Press and release the Power button 4. A menu will then appears that let you allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock 5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button 6. Quickly Press and release the Power button 7. Select Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

If the above procedures doesn't work. try this another method:

    1. Turn the POWER OFF, pull the battery out and put it back again. 2. Simultaneously press the Volume Up, Home and Power button 3. If the Samsung Symbol appears, release the Power button 4. A Boot Menu will then show, Use the volume up/down to choose and home to select.

Did you set the pattern or did he?
    Most patterns are 4 dots.
Let me dig around. Has to be a way...

The Screen Lock Bypass Android app is an application which allows users to unlock the lock patterns or PIN wherein the devices doesn’t provide option to reset your password using the Google Account.

But the important question is how will you install this application on your phone? It can be done by login into the Android Market on your PC or laptop and installing this app by transferring using the USB cable and this application will work to remove or reset your PIN/pattern which is a temporary lock to your device. This application will bypass the locked screen all the time when you reboot your device and thereby it will allow users to take the backup of the data present.

Should reset if you input it wrong 4 times I think. Otherwise you have to try the app I posted or take it to a repair center.
