What's the 94 in the top corner? Did you get this at boot? You've got an sd card icon.
It running OK?
that 94 in top corner is the percentage of my battery remaining(app is called battery big text or something like that. that isn't an sd card icon...its a sim (subscriber identification model) card. there isn't one in the phone.
must say its strange that you had so many issues with two EVOs. did you own the sprint version of the phone ?
A little generic perhaps, but works. I placed all the apps I use regularly in folders and deleted all the other start pages on this TouchWiz. Folders for quick contacts, shopping (Best Buy, etc), games, web apps (like PayPal, NBC news, etc) and my most useful local apps (like the music player) and finally an email folder.
I quite like it Mark. Organized!
One thing, Docs To Go, you can choose to hide that icon with the key. Go to Settings in the app and you'll find the option to hide it. Just a suggestion.
I wonder what Jay has to say about the TW UI?
You see Jay, it ain't bad!
And by the way Glenn, nice choice of colors.
. . . .One thing, Docs To Go, you can choose to hide that icon with the key. . . .
No need to. I'm using it - the Docs to Go full version that you can get for 11 or 12 dollars at the Google Play Store is a world different than the old Docs to Go. Much better than the last version I used on the BlackBerry Playbook. It is compatible with the Office 2010 Suite I have on my notebook. I still use SkyDrive from when I had a Windows phone (the SkyDrive app is free and at Google Play) so I can create a document (excel or word) on either my smartphone or my computer, save it on SkyDrive, then the document is available for reference or editing from any of my devices anywhere. In the past, if I created a document on Word 2010, the native Docs to Go on the Playbook could not load it, but the new version for Android can.
That I know Mark. And I'm glad you've found it and it does work wonders. I tried others but they don´t do as much. But...
Just download the free version from Google Play. You'll then have two Docs to Go Apps. On the paid version go to settings, advanced, hide the paid app and voila...full version with no key on the icon. Try it. All it does is activate the "free" one to the full version and you´ll be without that horrendous key on the app icon.
