Picking up an S3 on Friday.

Cas needs a reliable device since the digitizer is dying on her evo 3d. She gets my nexus, I get the S3.

Wish we could hold out but with a baby need to have a phone that allows her to dial.

    Oh well, darn the luck.

    I´m confused a little here:
""...with a baby need to have a phone that allows her to dial." Geez, Jay, Emma is still a tot.. what 2 months? You´re getting a little carried away here!
Well done you ! I betcha there´s no SIII that is going to be so rooted, so rommed and so raped like the pebble blue you´ll be getting.
    Congrats Bro!

Look, Emma already plays with a piano app on my phone.
Already have all I need to root. Going to hold off on ROM for a bit.

I'm hoping to find one like sorcery, its probably the best ROM I've used.

Heck I've already got my 32gb sd card ready.

    This time tomorrow.
FYI, nevercall tele-sales for Sprint. I was given a headache just asking price. They kept giving me the upgrade price even though I told them we were 9 months out.

Had to just hang up on them. Wouldn't even let me speak.

Thought about the hard screen protector but went with what's proven. Just ordered a phantomskin.

Looking forward to later today. They've got one set aside for me. Getting a give discount but still a little woozy over spending the money. Decided new because I didn't want to risk issues. Should last 2+ years or have a somewhat decent resale value. Wouldn't be buying but want her to be able to call out and have a solid device.

I doubt up share any thoughts on it. You guys all have one and I doubt I can add much. It will be rooted this evening once home, will back up and then ROM shop.

I'm going to miss JBSorcery and all the options it has. If anyone ever has a device supported I highly recommend that ROM. One of the maintainers is on my Talk and I've been impressed with how they handle issues. He contacted me with the new modem download and has kept in touch since.

Looking forward to using some of my apps like Mobile Odin that I paid for but weren't usable on the Nexus.

I just wonder how long it will be before I go back to AOSP

There were issues with activating the nexus last night. Had to flash stock .tar to get it to finally activate.

I'm happy, just haven't even downloaded all my apps. Decided to start fresh. Rooted and installed stock 4.1.2.
