Here's a list of my backed up ROMs in ROM manager. I'm using ClockworkMod recovery touch with ROM manager also. I've boot looped my phone several times, black screened it several times. You can't brick it unless you can't get into your recovery program, which you can always do manually by pulling the battery, replacing it, holding down the volume up, power and menu keys at the same time and it will boot into your recovery screen. Then simply do a data and cache wipe, and restore one of your backups.

I don't even pull my battery most of the time. Any more it's just flashing Kernals that do not compute with the source build. I would highly recommend TWRP 2.5.0.0. I had a rough time switching over from Rom Manager but now I couldn't force myself to go back. If you do just save a copy of your backups. Not sure if that will work though.

Well that sucks. I remember trying to root the HTC Incredible. That took a lot of cursing and about 5 hours. Guess I'll bookmark XDA again.

What browser are you guys using. The font is small in all of them so far. The one I'm using now is dolphin. On the nexus.

BHP, open browser, settings, accessibility. You can scale the text from there.

Ran Touchwiz for 3 days, back to AOSP. Battery was awful compared to AOSP. Didn't use any tw features anyway.

May try again when 4.2 drops with S4 stuff.

I alternate between Chrome and stock. But Jay is spot on. Rooted gives you the choice of font size as well as a choice of a gazillion downloadable fonts.

But how would I switch recoveries without re-rooting? I don't want the hassle. Also a lot if not most of the ROMs I'm using specify to use CWM recovery.

If you want twrp then get goo manager.
Keep in mind backups aren't compatible with each other.
