    Not worth the trouble honestly.
Won't wreck device if done properly. Why on earth would you want to ditch ICS for GB?

Of course its giving you issues, its an evo 3d.

the reason I wish to switch is because my favorite apps worked much better on gb and sense 3.0 is a big factor.

The hardest part would be finding the ruu. After that you would have to root to flash.

I'd not bother. Just root and install a custom ROM that's tweaked.

While knowing ADB is helpful, its not necessary to root.
The ability to follow directions and know what device you have is most important.

If you are intimidated then dont. Youll have to suck it up buttercup.

you say if done properly I will have no issues but do you think that on my current experience level (0) is be able to do it ?

and once rooted and back to gb and sense 3.0 would I be able to unroot ?

a little bit of information on my device:
    HTC EVO 3D x515m

    os: ics

    kernel:standard

    Rom:standard

is rooting this phone easy ?

do you know of a good reliable and easy website that has instructions on how to root my device ?

should I use "htc supper tool"

is it easy to do something wrong and brick ?

is there a single HTC device you know that dose not have issues ? or have you ever used an HTC device that had no problems...starting to thik that Android is the cause of these problems. because as far as I know the HTC Windows phones are fine.

Based on what I've gleaned from talking to you, I suggest you just forget about it.

    Really.

This is a road I really don't have the desire to travel.

    Please drop it.
