Help? Droid X stuck in boot loop.
I can't find where to put this thread. Mods please accept my a apologies and feel free to move it .... I have a rooted droid x. I cannot reboot into clockwork or bootstrap recovery as I am stuck in a boot loop. I have tried all the obvious options... ie, home button with power, side key with power, and vol down with power. none seem to work. Also when I try to wipe and restore with RSD lite, The phone tells me "battery too low to program"
This seemed to have happened after installing a Liberty kernel update. Any ideas?
Again, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.
Jason? Is that really you? How ya been?
Tis I.... I've been good.... well.... till i bricked my droid.
take the battery out. press power, home button and vol up... should get you back to recovery

Music business going well, I hope?
tried that... still just the normal stock recovery, I need the clockwork mod, or the bootstrap recovery....
Music is well, Roger.... That's why I've been a stranger as of late.
Up and running. I had to use a new battery. The one I had died while installing a kernel update. I didn't notice that my wall charger was not charging the phone.
What I had to do was wipe all user data, re-root, and reinstall my rom backup. NO fun, but it was my only option. Thanks Carlos for the input, I will try that next time I lock this thing up. As much as I fiddle with it, I'm sure that will be soon. I don't usually get stuck like that, but that was a weird instance.
And sorry I didn't chat much Roger, I had a show to get to and a lot of stuff to do first. I'm glad you remembered me.
No worries, JR. Glad to hear all is well with your musical aspirations! Don't be a stranger.....
