Greenify (Root Needed) - Another app to take a look at.

Basically keeps apps from continuing to suck battery/resources. Allows you to add app to a list and will force it into hibernation until you need it, then back again.

Needs root. I'm finding it useful.

Talk about thread hijacking. Let's leave the battery thing behind, shall we?

    Anyway, anyone tried this?
I'm having more issues with maps since installing it, wanted to know if anyone else has. Seems maps wants to stay awake more now.

I'm lost - what would this app or rooting a device have to do with batteries?

Root with this allows the app to force another app to hibernate. Root permission is needed to do this.
