You can't find talk to install or can't find the option within talk?

This I pulled from my device. Its the apk from the nexus 4. Not sure if it will work but give ita try.

    Skype works well enough.

I thought GTalk was standard fare on any Android device.

Thought so too. From reading around (before I decided to just pull mine) some don't. I don't know if it gets deleted or if a carrier decides to omit it in favor of something of their own. Its not on the market though.

I downloaded 4.2 gapps yesterday and just pulled that one from it. If it doesn't work I can pull the one from june /July and post it.

I didn't upload the 4.2 gapps because they're out there and its a huge file to upload over 3g.

Your phone app takes care of that. Just switch on video call within the call itself. Simple.

I'll admit that I didn't realize that was gtalk when I got my first android.

I actually can't figure out how to do that, I'm running 4.0.4 on Moto Droid Razr Maxx (not HD). I have the buttons for dialpad, speaker, mute, etc (6 in all) but nothing for video calling. Is this maybe a Jelly Bean or phone specific thing?

    Thanks Roger!
I've been around a little, but not posting much. On Android now without a lot of problems, yet not enough knowledge to help much. Btw, now I'm hearing about BlackBerry 10, that'll be interesting to see. ;-) LOL
