Droid users, Back up your SD card.

I have been seeing quite a few posts on an Android forum about SD cards being suddenly wiped on their Moto Droids. Some are trying to link it to certain apps they have in common, but some have experienced it even without using those apps. Others are saying it's from not properly unmounting their cards but some said they have not hooked up to their PCs in days. Not sure the cause and it has not happened to me, but back up your files just in case. There really seems to be a sudden increase in this issue. Some have been able to use recovery programs to get back some files but not everything.

    Has this happened to you?

So far no, but thanks for the heads up. Did they say which app they think it might be if it is?

SOme said Slacker, others said Dolphin....some said they used neither one but still got wiped. I use both and have had no issues. I will be watching closely for a more concrete cause. I do think that most have the 2.0.1 update in common.
