N. O. No
YES- as soon as it becomes available
no- 8800 is my next stop
no- Happy with what I got now
I am not emotionally ready to make that decision yet
YES iPhone 2nd generation- let the work the bugs out first
So by now you should have heard and seen the news..
Apple is officially releasing the iPhone. Impressive device
BUT WILL YOU BE LINING UP TO GET IT???
N. O. No
No. I want a smart phone and iPod separate. I did think about the Sony mp3 phone but decided that I really need a smart phone like the Pearl. I tried pressing the iPod to my ear just to see how it feels -- not happening.
No way. I'm happy with my Blackberry 8700g.
I'll wait for the 8800... =)
I'll see when it comes out I saw developper making promises too much time and I'd like to see the final result before giving my BB love away
I'm french canadian so I can also help you in french, just PM me
UNLESS it is for a BETA OS, it's at your own risk and I won't support it
It looks amazing.......going to be interesting to hear the reviews once it's released in June. Expensive bugger though
I will let the 15- 25 year olds buy that one.... 8800 is my next baby

Apple and "bugs" rarely go together, except to say: "Apple doesn't release a product with bugs."
Corporately, it will take a behemoth to shake BlackBerry.
But for the consumer?
This iPhone is quite impressive, and nothing yet has come close to offering what this device offers.
If available in Canada, I would likely drop my Pearl for the iPhone. Apple's Mail can do Exchange, so I wouldn't be sacrificing anything.
And for what it brings and offers, the price is actually not bad at all.
$250 for a Pearl + $250 for a Nano....geez, for the same price, I get better than both with an iPhone. There really is no decision to be made.
Unless RIM can come up with something, FAST, the iPhone will bleed RIM from its consumer Mac base of users. For far too long have the Mac Users been ignored or isolated from the BlackBerry world. Well, now we won't need a BlackBerry.
i like that on the Apple.com site when you go thru the interactive demo the phone has the cingular logo.... lolol

Apple doesn't release products with bugs is a pretty bold statement, given the fact that they've had a ton of products released with bugs. One of the older ones was the newton... Lets see, what else, the first generation iPods with the battery "issue", the iBook overheating. Just to name a few. There's a much larger list.
Not to knock the apple product, I do think they have some really great products. But to say "Apple doesn't release a product with bugs" is not only bold, but just plain uneducated.
I thought the 8800 was impressive, but the iPhone takes my breath away. This is a thing of beauty and genius. Apple has, once again, put all competitors to shame. I'm actually gonna drop TMO and switch to Cingular/AT&T to be first in line. I used to love my 8700g SOOOO much, but I look at it now and think, WTF? As for avoiding the kinks...this is Apple we are talking about. There will be no kinks. I've switched to the Mac and I'm never going back!

The vast majority of blackberry users are corporate folks, so the iPhone
doesnt effect them much.
Corporate folks have no need for a buggy touch screen device for music-
they just need reliability & the iPhone has none.
Plus, how many consumers have $600 lying around for a RECREATION
product that will become replaced with a newer model ever few months?
Cingular has the exclusive on it until 2009...Originally Posted by SuzzyP
