I can delete or archive emails and they magically reappear hours or days later. I'm using K9 mail but I;ve also tried to delete them in the Gmail app.

How is it set up? POP? IMAP? I have a POP account where that happens.

I uninstalled K9 because of the the same reason. You can also see your POP/IMAP settings on Gmail itself on you PC and see if the options are set correctly. You're getting duplicated mails because there's some setup conflict. That was my problem with K9.
Just saying. Try it out Cats.

IMAP was enabled...I disabled it. Not sure if that will help or hurt.

Check to see how Gmail is set up within the app. You want IMAP enabled if you want to keep things in sync unless K9 has a specific gmail setting.

Yep, IMAP is a must. POP not so much.

I know some apps have a specific Gmail setup option. Dunno about K9. But it doesn't matter right now cuz I know Cats is watching Bama blow out Tennessee.
