Okay, I've loaded a custom ROM (Jedi). I chose a 5x5 grid format on install, which doesn't play nicely with widgets. Not finding a way to change that with the tools that were downloaded with it. Do I have to reinstall the ROM to change that?

Guessing the ROM used an aroma installer. I would think there will be an option to change if you reflashed. If not then yeah, but no wiping is required.

So just follow the instructions again except skip the wipe?

Yep. May even give the option to wipe or not. You won't have to reinstall apps unless you wipe data anyway.

Anything that reboots on its own ain't right. If it does a couple of times it ain't right for those times.
Rog, what? Got your old BlackBerry Bold back? Dejá vu...
That's why I keep away from that flash/rom/nightlies crap.

fc's and sod's or reboots as you say is an indication that there is rom issues. The reboots won't go away from my experience. That's when I go fishing for a stable rom.
