Well I've got all the album artwork i need now...iTunes does an update for automatic album art, but i was wondering if there would be an easier way to get it to the phone without deleting all current music (about 40 albums) and the having to re-load it all back on to the sd card. Can i just drag and drop or what?

I put my mp3s in the video folder instead of the music one and my album art shows up for all of them.

Yea, you can just drag and drop, just plug it in open it up and go to the music folder.

You need to use media monkey to embedd the album art into the ID3 tags. Then it should work. Itunes doesn't always save the album art into the ID3 tags.

I just tried Media Monkey last night. Works AWESOME.
    http://www.mediamonkey.com/

    Found some tutorials on LifeHacker.
Alpha Geek: Whip your MP3 library into shape, Part II - Album art

Alpha Geek: Whip your MP3 library into shape, Part III: Metadata

Took me about two hours to add Album art to 90% of the songs on my MicroSD card. Now I am adding album art to all the music on my PC so when I transfer songs, they'll already have album art.

This Media Monkey program does a great job fixing ID3 tags as well. I have run into a few anomalies here and there, no biggie. Its free BTW!!!!

Downside is you have to do this album by album, there is no batch process. I tried another program that did use a batch process, but it created a separate .JPG file instead of imbedding into the .MP3

BTW the other program I spoke of is AlbumAggregator found at http://team.thenexusnet.com/nexus/AAA/

It does a batch download of all the album art available to media on your PC.
    Batch download instructions from:
    http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/...howtopic=29876
    <UPDATE> FEB.19.2006, version 1.4.6100
added the ability to do a mass download of album covers. You can access it via the right-click menu of the treeview or using the keyboard command Ctrl+A.
I also realized that I never told anyone that there are keyboard shortcuts. Or at least I don't think I've ever mentioned them, since I didn't even know they were there til I saw the code, hehe.
    Ctrl+B = Browse for folders
    Ctrl+G = Generate album list
Ctrl+A = Download All album covers.

If you use this to batch download your .JPG files first before using MEdiaMonkey, you can then tell MEdia monkey to just use that existing .JPG as an imbed to the .MP3 to save time.

Why not just use Windows Media Player? Right click on the song and select "Advanced Tag Editor". Then just switch to the Pictures tab and add a picture. I haven't actually tested to see if the image shows up in the Blackberry Media Player, but I see no reason it shouldn't.
