pictures embedded in MP3?--------album art in the player

I have the pearl and I was flipping through a computer mag last nite. They reviewed 4 cell phones. One of the things they mentioned is that the pearl can show album art if the art is embedded in the audio file. Anybody have any extra info on this. It seems like it would be cool. Even cooler if I could embed my own pics into what ever MP3 I like

Yep...You sure can...If I had a digital cam here at work I would do it...Let me try BB Screen and see if it will pick up the info displayed in the media player.

It's easy if you use itune. Go to add album art in itune put your favorite pic on the song you like. Burn or transfer to PC. When you transfer your MP3 to your BB it will show up in the media player.

Yup. I use iTune and it creates a small image in the mp3 and that displays in the BB media player. Pretty cool.

I use a program called Tag Runner, as well as Musicmatch. Both have the capability to download the Tag info and album art. I like to keep my music organized. :-)

Re: pictures embedded in MP3?--------album art in the player

How about if I've already got aboot 40 or so albums on my sd card, and not all of my albums in iTunes have the album art (why i did not do this before transfering i dont know and am now kicking myslef for), but i do not want to go through the long process of taking ALL music off of blackberry, and then re-uploading ALL the music with the updated album art.

This would take forever i think, i mean if i have to I will. But, i have tried dragging the album artwork into the album folder via usb, and it still does not show. Is there any easier way than erasing and re-uploading?

    Thanks in advance
