    Personal Ringtone Help

I have an 8700c and I am striving to load ringtones on my phone. Since my phone is a old BB I have no memory card slot on it. I have tried emailing the mp3 file to myself, but it still didi not work. I have also tried using a website, and still "NO". Does anyone else have any other idea?

I don't know much about the 8700, but maybe you can have someone send it you via blackberry messenger?

You probably had an older OS in which it was unsupported, heck even OS4.5 is out for the 8700...So HTML email comes to the 8700

Thanks for the link http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...ead.php?t=3340 it's pretty informative. My DM that I am running is v. 4.3.0.17, and I don't see anyway to load the file. Maybe I am not looking in the right places!?!

I have found success! What I did was switched up my DM, so I downloaded v4.2 SP2 software. Since I had another version on my system I had to uninstall it before I could install the different version. Once installed I went to the Roxio 9 media manager and from there I was able to move the mp3 file into my BB. My only issue is I have to cut the song down to 433kb.

I have "Audacity" on my system, but i really haven't messed with it to much. I have been using Roxio media player 10. It has a pretty good sound editor program.
