This thread is dedicated to nothing but FREE ringtones. Nothing is required, simply download and enjoy.

Feel free to submit your own tones. If you do not have a website but you want to contribute a ringer you can start your own site, which is very simple or you can ask a fellow stacker if they can host the ringer for you. Here is a site where you can upload your own tones for free and link to them here... www.box.net.

You must have a data plan on your BB to download ringers from the web. Just visit the link provided from your BB and proceed to download the ringer from there.

There are many other sites that will let you upload a ringer and then download that same ringer to your BB. One of them I use frequently is www.coolservice.dk/en/compatibilities.php. You visit the site from your pc, upload the ringer, then a link will be provided in which you will visit from your BB. You will need a code, which will be provided when the ringer is uploaded.

If you have a request please do so in the Official Ringtone Request Thread... and when your request has been fulfilled it will be posted in this thread.

If you are interested in creating wav ringtones here are the settings that I find work the best... 1 mono, 8bit, 8,000 hz, making sure the size doesnt exceed 250kb give or take.
