hello everyone new to the whole blackberry world, i do have a question about .rem file i know that this is encyripted media file i have fixed proplem so my pictures do not save this way. my question is is there any easier way other then e-mailing each picture on my phone to myself so i can change .rem file to just a .jpg file? not looking forward to emailing myself over 200 pictures.

    Welcome to the Stacks!

Launch BlackBerry Desktop Manager's "Media Manager" application.

Connect BB via USB, it will ask you for your device's password once you enter your password it will decrypt the files and will remove the .rem extensions for you.

Another option is to go into the Options > Security Settings > General Options and disable Content Protection. Then Restart your device via Ctrl/Atl/Del (hold them together) or battery pull.

Disabling content protection also improves device performance.

    Hope this helps!
